Core Curriculum

 Curriculum

St. Cassian School provides a curriculum in the Catholic tradition to foster students' intellectual, moral, religious, social and physical development. The school aligns its curriculum to the Archdiocese of Newark Curriculum Guidelines, which meet or exceed relevant educational standards, including those proposed by content area experts, the New Jersey Core Curriculum Content Standards, and the Common Core Standards.

While whole class instruction encompasses the innovative and successful curriculum that St. Cassian School is known for, our teachers address individual student learning styles and academic levels through fun and creative lessons that build on our students’ strengths.

Classworks, an online interactive program, is one of the tools used by our teachers to personalize instruction.  This innovative program enables teachers to differentiate instruction to meet individual academic needs and enrich students in areas of particular strength or talent. Whether a student needs reinforcement in a particular area of the curriculum or is ready to reach new heights in his/her learning, our teachers are ready to maximize the learning experience.
