Congratulations to Henry Meyers, St. Cassian School's 2025 Outstanding Catholic School Graduate!

Henry Meyers, one of our current eighth graders, was recognized by the Archdiocese of Newark as St. Cassian School’s 2025 Outstanding Catholic School Graduate. The superintendent’s office bestows this honor to one student from every Catholic school in the archdiocese who has demonstrated superior academic achievement and demonstrates his Catholic faith in word and action. We are proud to say that Henry excels in meeting these qualifications.
Henry is an honor student who is a leader among his peers. As a motivated and enthusiastic member of our school and parish family, Henry serves as an altar server, often lectors at our school masses and shares his talent through music ministry as a member of the student school choir and as the only student in our adult church choir. His talents have also earned him lead roles in our annual school musical. Henry’s active participation in school activities also includes playing in all of our team sports, including volleyball, basketball, track and field and cross county. In addition to all the above mentioned activities, Henry joins a few other students every morning in singing a patriotic song, such as God Bless America or the National Anthem, over the intercom as part of the school’s morning exercises.
Most of all, we are proud of how Henry puts his faith into action through his kindness to others. Our youngest students look up to him as he is always willing to help them. We often witness him helping younger members of his track team or helping younger students at school. We congratulate Henry for being an Outstanding Catholic School Graduate, an honor which is well-deserved, and thank him for his commitment to serving our school and church community in ways that demonstrate his Christian leadership.
