During the month of February, artist and educator Kevin Brooks delivered a motivating Black History Month lecture and performance to our students.

The first part of his presentation highlighted several prominent individuals with great accomplishments, such as Sabina Chebichi, a pioneering distance runner, and Clara Belle Drisdale Williams, a trailblazing educator. Mr. Brooks also discussed inspiring figures like St. Josephine Bakhita and Venerable Pierre Toussaint. The second part of the presentation featured an inspirational talk, an original song performance, and a question-and-answer session.
The students loved Mr. Brooks’ inspiring presentation! We are always grateful for his motivating work with our students.
Thank you, Mr. Brooks!
